Back to TopSoftware Upgrade Notice!
If your netphone number starts with 8 or 4 and will not log in to our server (or you cannot obtain a dial tone) on or after 2 July 2007, a software upgrade will be required for continued operation of your netphone account.
A major account and software upgrade will be completed on 2 July, 2007 for all netphone numbers that start with 8 or 4. Depending on your model of netphone, your account software may require upgrading to remain in operation. For more information please see the following:

USB phones:
If the Software for your USB phone will no longer log-in after 2 July, 2007, please download the new software Click Here then select "RUN". After the new Software is installed your log-in and account access will be restored.
Desktop Network Phone KE1020A:
Your KE netphone model will require an update from our Server. Please power your phone off and on by disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord. When your phone re-starts you will see a message on the phone display "New Firmware! Sure to Upgrade?" When you see this message on the display, press the netphone SET/OK button... wait and then press the SET/OK button again. After 1 minute your phone will display a series of numbers. Wait 5 minutes until the numbers stop displaying and the phone restarts. If your phone does not display a series of numbers and then restart, please contact us here
When the above software download is complete, please complete the following operation on your KE unit:
- Press the SET/OK button on the phone -> Phone will say "TCP/IP Settings"
- Press the UP button on the phone -> Phone will say "Settings Options"
- Press the SET/OK button on the phone -> Phone will say "Save Settings"
- Press the UP button on the phone -> Phone will say "Restore Factory"
- Press the SET/OK button on the phone
When your KE Netphone completes an additional restart and the displays "Ready for Calls" - your system upgrade is complete.
