What is Global PABX?
A PABX is the traditional automated in-office business telephone answering system that provides a recorded welcome message and directs customer calls by numbered extensions. Global PABX is an automated telephone answering system that directs customer calls by numbered extensions to your staff throughout the world. With Global PABX there is no PABX hardware to purchase, install or maintain on the customer premises.
Answer your calls wherever you are: Call extensions can be landed on our toll free global network, regular lines or even cellular phones with savings of up to 90% against regular telecom toll rates. You could literally be lounging on a beach in the Bahamas and receive affordable international calls direct from your Global PABX mobile extension!
A local presence wherever you want to do business: As a Global PABX subscriber, your company staff can be contacted by your international customers for the price of a local call through your choice of telecom phone numbers ("International Phone Numbers") now available in more than 50 countries. Itīs virtually a local presence - on a global scale. The ultimate global office!
Back to TopHow does it work?
You are issued with one or more International Phone Numbers in your choice of cities that connect directly to your automated welcome message through our global network. Incoming calls are directed through our international networks by your scripted voice prompts. Customers can navigate numbered extensions to the departments or persons of choice anywhere in the world.

Why is a hosted IP PABX solution superior?
If you are comparing our hosted Global PABX solution with the purchase and installation of an IP PABX server at your premises, the following are some crucial considerations:
- A server installed in your office that shares your existing broadband connection will be adversely affected by any interruptions from your local ISP (internet) connectivity which may also cause marked variations in line quality and system availability.
- An IP-PABX sever in your premises will be drastically affected by power outages or local ISP failures. In these instances your IP PABX system will not be available for your customer calls including regular intra company communications. Your system will literally be disconnected.
Our hosted system offers carrier quality with multiple backup systems designed and operated exclusively for our IP PABX. Should your local ISP connection be interrupted, your hosted Global PABX can be pre-configured so that all incoming calls are automatically diverted to an alternative landline or mobile number until your internet is restored. Your customers will not be inconvenienced and your system integrity and reputation will be unaffected.
Back to TopWhat do I need?
With Global PABX you provide only your voice scripts and extension requirements. We will configure the system on our remote server and have your Global PABX operational in just a few days. PC software, or handsets required (if any) will depend upon how you wish to receive incoming calls. There are three options for receiving Global PABX calls:
Option 1:
Answer your Calls on IP Hardware
Receive incoming calls for free on an IP phone handset (“Netphone”) or convert your regular telecom phone to a Netphone with our adapters.
Option 2:
Divert your Calls to a Regular Phone or Mobile
Extensions on your Global PABX can be diverted to your regular phone or mobile phone. This option has no requirement for any equipment purchase but you pay a fee for each incoming call.
Option 3:
Answer your Calls on Our Software Phone
Our PC Softphone also allows you to receive free incoming calls no matter where you are. A PC with a Broadband Internet connection is required. Softphone calls may also be forwarded to a regular telecom phone (per minute rates apply) or to our voicemail-to-email service.

How much does it cost?
Provided you are receiving incoming calls on a Broadband connected Netphone device or PC Softphone, you only pay a monthly Global PABX rental fee without per minute charges. If you wish to receive incoming calls on your regular telecom phone or mobile you will be billed per minute at our discounted rate.
All Global PABX monthly rental rates are quoted when ordering your system and will depend on the number and levels of extensions required and the length of the voice scripts. The initial cost of activating your Global PABX involves the payment of your first month's rental plus a one time setup fee. Subscriptions are available on a month-to-month contract or discounts are available for annual commitments.
